Responsibilities
- Lead the crew through each shift by working alongside them, not just directing from the sidelines
- Set the tone for the team by modeling the work ethic, attitude, and attention to detail AFG expects
- Keep the crew on track throughout the shift — managing time, dividing tasks, and making sure nothing gets missed
- Step in wherever the team needs support to ensure every location is completed properly and on time
- Onboard and walk new team members through AFG's procedures hands-on during their first shifts
- Foster a positive, encouraging team environment where everyone feels supported and motivated
- Address any team conflicts or issues on site with professionalism and fairness
- Communicate crew needs, performance observations, and any shift concerns to the account executive after each shift
- Keep team morale high by recognizing good work and encouraging accountability in a constructive way
Requirements
- Prior experience in cleaning, facilities, or a related field
- A natural team player who steps up when leadership is needed
- Strong work ethic with a hands-on, lead-from-the-front approach
- Ability to manage time effectively and keep a crew moving efficiently
- Dependable, punctual, and consistent
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel between locations
- Ability to handle physical labor for extended periods
